Ingredients
- 3 tangerine/orange
- 1 pack of Unsalted biscuits (Marie Gold or Parle G will work)
- 3-4 tsp Butter
- 5-6 scoop of vanilla ice cream
- 200 g of regular chocolate
- 1 cup semolina
- 2-3 tsp sugar (as per your taste)
Method:
- Boil 3 tangerine for about 1 ½ -2 hours. To cut the bitterness of oranges it is important to boil them for this long.
- In a food processer, add biscuits along with soften butter and blend till it look alike a crumble.
- In a cheesecake mould, layer the made crumble and refrigerate for half an hour.
- Make a even layer of vanilla ice cream and freeze for another 1 hour
- Peel the tangerine and take out all the pulp. In a mixer, blend pulp along with the peels.
- Now in a pan, add prepare orange mix along with sugar and cook till sugar melts.
- In another pan, roast semolina till it gets a nice light brown color.
- Add roasted semolina to orange-sugar syrup and mix well to form a homogenous mixture.
- Take out the prepared crumble from fridge and layer orange-semolina mixture on it. Rest for 10 minutes.
- Add a layer of melted chocolate.
- Freeze for half an hour.
- This cake is a base recipe you are garnish with whatever you like, for example, orange rind, white chocolate chips, nuts, etc., the world is yours.
- Un-mould the cake and serve chilled.
